Μαζί δοκιμάζουμε μία καινοτόμο ψυχοκοινωνική παρέμβαση που στοχεύει στη Μετατραυματική Ανάπτυξη και μετράμε την αποτελεσματικότητά της μέσα από κλινική έρευνα.
Στόχος μας είναι να ενδυναμώσουμε τους ασθενείς
και να βελτιώσουμε την ποιότητα ζωής τους.
Christina Karamanidou
I'm a health psychologist and researcher, specializing in the fields of health psychology and patient empowerment. My research focuses on doctor-patient communication, treatment adherence, health literacy, digital health literacy, and quality of life in chronic illness. My aim is to enhance patient care by understanding illness perceptions, treatment beliefs, and the psychological factors influencing health outcomes.
Christine Kakalou
I'm a software engineer and research associate specializing in generative AI and knowledge graphs for personalized digital health. I develop intelligent systems that adapt medical information to patients' cognitive and socioeconomic profiles, aiming to improve health literacy and empowerment. With a background in medical informatics and information extraction, I'm especially interested in combining semantic technologies, expert knowledge, health literacy frameworks, social determinants of health, and large language models to generate tailored health content that supports patient understanding and informed decision-making.
Anna Nisyraiou
I am a clinical psychologist and post-doctoral researcher in health psychology, with a focus on testing psychosocial interventions to evaluate their effectiveness and real-world impact. Drawing on my 9-year experience as a trained therapist, I work on advancing patient and family empowerment, supporting their well-being, and strengthening decision-making processes. My main interests include promoting compassionate care and enhancing communication skills to foster better healthcare experiences. I am also committed to contributing to evidence-based practices and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations in healthcare.
Maria Vasilopoulou
I'm a counselling psychologist, and my research focuses on the fields of health psychology and positive psychology. My main research lines focus include patient-partner dyads in cancer, couple dynamics in cancer, patient adaptation to illness and patient and caregiver empowerment. Also, I have a particular interest in treatment preferences and the role of communication skills in healthcare settings, aiming to enhance patient-provider interactions and improve decision-making processes in medical care.
Mara Gkioka
I am a cognitive psychologist/ neuropsychologist and researcher, with a strong focus on dementia care and neuropsychological assessment. My work revolves around clinical research, staff training, and the development of interventions to enhance communication and care for individuals with neurodegenerative diseases. I am particularly interested in improving HCP education and fostering a more compassionate and informed approach to quality of life in dementia care within clinical settings.
Antonis Bozas
I am a medical psychologist bringing experience in research, clinical practice, and project management. My work spans academic, clinical, and humanitarian settings, with a focus on public health, health promotion, bioethics, and applied interventions in health. I’ve held positions in several settings providing technical support, research practice, and stakeholder engagement. Passionate about integrating ethical frameworks into research and practice, supporting health prevention and promoting well-being through evidence-based approaches.
Konstantina Stavrogianni
I am a psychologist working in research in the field of health psychology, with a focus on chronic illness, patient empowerment, and patient-provider communication in healthcare settings. My main research interests include the lived experience of chronic illness, particularly among marginalized populations, as well as the impact of gender and social inequalities on health outcomes.
